Near the end of the 19th century, Claude Monet painted 18 different views of this water lily pond.  View reproductions of some of these famous works of art, learn about Monet's life and find out why the Impressionist movement was so exciting!  After practicing some watercolor techniques, participants will then have a chance to create a lush, impressionistic landscape of their own using watercolor paints and torn pieces of tissue paper.
